Since the beginning of 2020, sprachbewusst has been providing language services at the highest level and with the professionalism that all customers deserve. sprachbewusst ('language-aware' in German) is – as the name suggests – about consciously perceiving and working with language. Language has a particular meaning in every context. It is important to recognise and take this into account. This is the only way to achieve the best results and to satisfy and convince your customers or advisors.
Since 2023 I am also providing interpreting services for Austrian Sign Language. Are you planning an accessible event for hard of hearing and deaf people? Please feel free to contact me.
Proofreading | Editing
I will be happy to proofread your German texts or documents and scientific papers, so that your words make an impact on your customers or your papers meet scientific requirements.
Proofreading includes checking grammar, punctuation, and spelling. If content, structure, and clarity are also to be examined, an editing service is the right choice for you.

Languages offered
My working languages are Austrian Sign Language, German, French and English. While I mainly proofread and edit written and scientific work in German, I also offer language trainings in German, English and French.

About me
Having grown up in the dialect-influenced Zillertal valley in Tyrol, Austria, I finally became aware of the importance of language and its correct use in all situations in life during my undergraduate degree in Translation Studies at the University of Innsbruck (hence the name sprachbewusst, 'language-aware').
Towards the end of my master's degree, in which I chose to specialise in conference interpreting, I finally ventured into self-employment. This was one of the best decisions of my life, because I love my work as it doesn't feel like work at all.
A background in business, several years of experience in customer service and customer advice, study abroad periods in France, Belgium and a terminology internship in a translation and interpreting office in Germany have all cemented my extensive social, linguistic, and cultural skills.
